CJ Clarke commissions international photography and multimedia assignments with a specific focus on rapid-onset and on-going emergency situations around the world. In each case, he looks to create dynamic and engaging visual stories. Currently based in New Delhi, CJ was previously picture editor of Save the Children for two and half years, based in London.
He also produces multimedia and film projects, recently writing and directing 'It Should't Happen Here' an advert to help promote Save the Children's UK poverty campaign. Multimedia projects include 'How to Save a Child's Life' a two month project to cover the unfolding hunger crisis in Niger. This project made extensive use of social media outlets, with regular multimedia dispatches from the field, which reached a wide, worldwide audience.
